Stephen Bruce Forsyth

MEMORIAL SERVICES:  FRIDAY, MARCH 18, 2011        1:00 P. M.MCCLAIN-HAYS CHAPELOFFICIATING:  REV. JERRY OAKES Mr. Forsyth, 71, died Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Emory Johns Creek Hospital in Johns Creek, GA.   He was born in Olney, Illinois and was a graduate of Hanover College in Madison, Indiana.  He was a retired commercial construction superintendent.  Mr. Forsyth had previously lived in Louisville, Kentucky and Meridian, Mississippi.  He had been a resident of Cumming, Georgia for the past 14 years.  He was Presbyterian by faith.   Mr. Forsythe was preceded in death by his father, Robert Forsyth.   Survivors include his wife, Nancy Kennedy Forsyth of Cumming, GA; daughters, Shelia Wardlaw of Amory, Teresa Oakes of Sulligent, AL, and Vickie Forsyth Bennett of Amory; step-son, Brian Waddell of Philadelphia; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; mother, Virginia Forsyth of Blacksburg, VA; sisters, Jody Verplaetse of Greencastle, IN and Amy Stephens of Blacksburg, VA; and brother, Robert Forsyth of Greencastle, IN.
