STEVE MOORE                         REV. JIMMY TOWNSEND Mr. Sims, 88, of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Neshoba County General Hospital.   He was a native of Philadelphia.  Mr. Sims was a member of Deemer Church of Jesus Name.  He was retired after working for many years at Weyerhaeuser and Yates.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during WWII.   Survivors include sons, Pat Sims and his wife, Clara of Philadelphia and Randy Sims and his wife, Donna of Philadelphia; daughter-in-law,Joyce Sims of Philadelphia; brother, Earvin Sims and his wife, Dorothy of Philadelphia; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.   Mr. Sims was preceded in death by his wife, Ola Sims; sons, Terry Sims, Jerry Sims, and James Sims; sisters, Pernecie McCrory, Druesillar Neese, and Lena Mae McCrory; and brothers, Richard Sims and Uriah Sims.
