DAVID HENDERSON Robert Lee Partin passed away on the Fourteenth of June, 2017 in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 75. He is preceded in death by his wife Beryl Jean Pitts Partin and daughter Leann Denise Partin; his mother Daisy Robinson Partin and father Robert Temple Partin. Robert is survived by his loving wife Jan of 43 years. They were married in Philadelphia, Mississippi on the First of December, 1973. Robert is also survived by his daughter Brandye Drager and her husband Barry; daughter Emmye Tiemann and her husband Christian; and his son Justin and his wife Ashley. Robert has four beautiful grandchildren; Lane Daniel, Georgia, and Cook Drager; and Brantley Tiemann. He is also survived by his sister Audria "Bobbie" Boyd-Smith and her husband Joseph; and by three nieces; Pam Gentry, Vickie Boyd, and Audee Dowd. Robert also has three grandnephews and one grandniece. Robert was born in Meridian, Mississippi on the Twelfth of June, 1942. He graduated from Meridian High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He attended the University of Southern Mississippi, where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Robert graduated college in 1966. Most of Robert's career was spent with U.S. Motors. His job took him and his family to Mena, Arkansas. He retired from U.S. Motors and remained in Mena. In retirement Robert enjoyed drinking morning coffee with Jan on their screened-in front porch. He became a wonderful cook. He was best known for his fish fries, red sauce with meatballs, and brisket. If you ask his grandson Cook it was his chili cheese hot dogs and Georgia would tell you it was his ice cream sundaes. Robert was a great outdoorsman. By far his biggest passion was fishing. He would fish everyday if he could and he passed the love of fishing on to his grandson Lane Daniel.
